Maintenance Handyperson

The Main Purpose of the Job:

Swann Engineering Group Ltd is looking for a trustworthy individual, ideally with extensive experience in Electrical and Mechanical systems, to undertake general maintenance tasks at our manufacturing headquarters in Braintree, Essex. Initially required for 3 days a week, with the expectation for this to be potentially reduced depending on workload, this role would ideally suit an individual who has vast experience in maintenance activities and familiar with general ‘handy-person’ orientated tasks.

Duties Include:

Working solely at our Braintree site, the successful individual would undertake general maintenance of our Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical systems, as well as general building upkeep.

Qualifications:

No formal qualifications are required for this role, however, the successful individual would require:

  • A solid understanding of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
  • Be reliable, trustworthy and a dedicated team-player.
  • Have demonstratable experience of maintenance orientated tasks.
  • Be an effective communicator with good organisational skills.
  • Must be able to take direction but with a pro-active attitude.

Quality Inspector
