Swann Group Secure New NATS Design & Build Project

Swann Group are delighted to have been appointed by NATS to design and deliver eight hybrid communication structures across the UK.

NATS, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic control services, handle over 2 million flights and 250 million passengers in the UK airspace. The project started in August 2018 and follows previous Swann projects with NATS including Project L4000 which included the design, manufacture, supply and erection of 29 communication structures on 23 UK sites.

The scope of works for the new project allows for the following:

  • Site design
  • Geotechnical investigations
  • Planning
  • Foundation design and construction
  • Structure fabrication and installation
  • Installation and commissioning of antennas, microwave systems, aerial feeders and gantries
